Best Gyms in Bali (2026): Honest Reviews From Someone Who's Actually Trained at Them
Published 29 Jul 2026, 21:00 Bali time
Looking for the best gym in Bali? Here's my honest review of Nirvana Life, RITE, Omni, Reload, Obsidian, Gdas Bali and Bambu Fitness, plus where to train, recover and optimise your health in 2026.

If you're coming to Bali for fitness, longevity, or simply looking for the best place to train while working remotely, this guide is for you.
Bali has quietly become one of the world's biggest fitness destinations. Every month thousands of athletes, entrepreneurs, digital nomads, HYROX competitors, bodybuilders and biohackers fly here because nowhere else combines world-class gyms, recovery, healthy food and tropical living quite like Bali.
I've trained at almost every major premium gym on the island.
This isn't a sponsored review.
Nobody paid to be on this list.
These are my honest opinions after spending months living and training in Bali.
Where are the best gyms in Bali?
Objectively speaking, the best gyms are concentrated around Canggu, particularly Pererenan and Seseh. While areas like Ubud and Uluwatu have excellent options, Canggu remains the centre of Bali's fitness and wellness culture.
Recommended areas: - Canggu - Pererenan - Seseh - Ubud - Uluwatu
1. Nirvana Life Bali (Canggu)

If I had to describe Nirvana in one sentence:
> It's the best place to spend your entire day.
Most gyms are somewhere you train for 90 minutes before leaving.
Nirvana feels more like a wellness resort, with one of Bali's biggest recovery areas, excellent yoga and Pilates classes, a restaurant, coworking spaces, swimming pools and an integrated wellness clinic offering longevity services including peptide therapies.
Pros
- Incredible recovery facilities
- Great community
- Excellent yoga and Pilates
- Outdoor calisthenics
- Great food
- Coworking-friendly
Cons
The weight room is surprisingly small for such a large complex and becomes crowded during peak hours. Traffic around Canggu can also be frustrating.
Best for: Digital nomads and longevity enthusiasts.
2. RITE (formerly Wrong Gym)

Formerly known as Wrong Gym, RITE has become one of Bali's cleanest premium gyms with huge training areas, martial arts, classes and wellness facilities.
Pros
- Extremely clean
- Huge gym
- Great classes
- Quiet Pererenan location
Cons
Limited café, small recovery area, not much coworking space and no red-light therapy.
Best for: Serious training.
3. Omni (Seseh)

Omni offers one of Bali's best combinations of premium training, healthy food, recovery and coworking.
The only downside is that laptops aren't allowed in the common café area, forcing people into the paid coworking section.
Best for: Entrepreneurs and remote workers.
4. Reload (Canggu)

One of Bali's newest and trendiest gyms.
Excellent facilities, rooftop training area and classes.
The only thing I don't enjoy is how loud the music is.
5. Obsidian (Canggu)

If Ronnie Coleman came to Bali, I'd send him here.
Obsidian is built for lifters with more machines than almost any other gym on the island.
Recovery is relatively basic compared with competitors.
6. Gdas Bali Health & Wellness Resort (Ubud)

The best gym and wellness experience in Ubud.
Peaceful atmosphere, cryotherapy, yoga, spa facilities and surprisingly excellent plant-based food.
7. Bambu Fitness (Uluwatu)

The closest thing to a premium Canggu-style gym in Uluwatu.
Excellent for calisthenics, surfers and functional fitness.

Why Bali is Becoming the World's Biohacking Capital
The best gyms in Bali are evolving into complete longevity centres.
Today you can train, recover, use cold plunges, infrared saunas, compression therapy, get blood work and access wellness clinics offering advanced recovery options including peptide therapies.
Peptides aren't magic. They're simply another tool that works best alongside proper training, sleep, nutrition and recovery.
Final Thoughts
I've trained in gyms across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Bali remains my favourite because nowhere else combines fitness, recovery, healthy food, cafés and entrepreneurial culture quite like it.
